España
Duas longas coleções de guitarra espanhola e violoncelo, atravessando o espírito da Andaluzia, de Granada e da noite mediterrânica.

Tradições
- Flamenco is organised into palos — soleá, siguiriya, alegrías, bulerías — each with its own compás, mode and emotional register.
- The twelve-beat compás of soleá and bulerías carries accents that do not fall evenly, which is why the form resists a single European time signature.
- Cante, toque and baile — voice, guitar and dance — developed together; the guitar grew from accompaniment into solo repertoire mainly in the twentieth century.
- Nuevo flamenco is the opening of that tradition to other instruments and harmonies — which is where the cello enters.
- Beyond Andalusia the peninsula carries Galician, Basque, Catalan and Castilian musics with their own instruments and metres.
Instrumentos
- Guitarra flamenca — lighter and shallower than a classical guitar, with faster response
- Cajón — box drum adopted from Peru in the 1970s and now standard
- Palmas — hand clapping, played as a full percussion part with sorda and fuerte tones
- Cello — the IGUNO voice set against the guitar
- Gaita galega and pandeireta — the bagpipe and frame drum of the Atlantic north
